The Happy Pixel - Nonogram Color gameplay is the following: when you begin a puzzle, and unlike what happens with other nonograms with a grid and some numbers at the top and on the left, the numbers in this game are all around the canvas. These numbers indicate the number of squares that are colored around the same number. So, if usually, the best thing to do is start with the bigger numbers, here, it's best to get rid of the squares with the number '1', which can only color themselves.

Later on, you will have to solve the rest of the squares, keeping in mind the numbers that are around them. So, in a certain way, the game can resemble a classic game of sudoku, but with a more colorful twist. At the end, when all the squares are colored, a hidden picture will be revealed.
